This farmhouse is located 15 minutes to downtown Dahlonega, 20 minutes to all Dahlonega wineries, 2 minutes to Sunny's horseback riding, 7 minutes to tubing/kayaking, 20 minutes to Helen, 30 minutes to many different waterfalls, hiking trails and and other attractions.....and all just 1 hour north of Atlanta! Wedding Venues: Within 15 min to many, especially Juliet Chappell. We offer wedding baskets to guests and allow pre/post wedding celebrations. Contact host to confirm numbers. The farm: Once bustling with horse 🐴, cattle, & sheep, has transformed into a tranquil retreat for guests and family. Explore the rich history of the land, from a Cherokee Indian cabin built in the 1800s, to a stream that flows under the house and the creek running thru the property. Enjoy special memories around our expansive outdoor firepit or riding the tire swing in the field. This home offers true relaxation and serenity for all to enjoy, with the perfect blend of privacy and convenience, pickleball court, having easy access to tubing, horseback riding, waterfalls, hiking trails, local wineries, restaurants, downtown Dahlonega, and UNG. Features Indoor: - 3 bedroom with all Egyptian cotton bedding. Primary room has King bed, 2nd guest room near cabin has Queen bed, and 3rd (kids upstairs) room has 2 queens, and 1 twin bed. - 2 bathrooms: 1 with shower and clawfoot tub and 2 vanities, 1 with shower and 1 vanity. - Cabin Room has dining table for 8 with living room seating and fireplace. Firewood/Fire-starters are complimentary. - Main living room equipped with 65" Roku smart TV w/guest mode for easy programable sign in and out. - All other bedrooms equipped with Roku smart TV's w/guest mode for easy programable sign in and out. - Complimentary coffee station with espresso machine (pods included), drip coffee machine (coffee packets available), and assortment of organic teas, and sweeteners. - All water on property is pumped from a well 400 feet below ground. It is natural spring water and is safe and delicious to drink and bath. No bottle water is needed at this property. - In Door & Outdoor fire pit with complimentary firewood. Lumpkin County License: STR-5156 Guest access: Our guests have access to the entire farmhouse, including the 200 year Indian cabin attached to home, as well as enjoying leisurely hikes thru the foothills of the 5 acre property. There is a 2 space carport on property and space for additional car at entrance of driveway. Other things to note: - This listing is located off of a main road and while it is easily accessible to the Dahlonega area and nearby attractions, you may hear some normal road noise from passing cars. We have furnished sound machines in each room for your comfort. - This property is on a farm, and that's what we love about it, but please note that rural areas do come with more seasonal bugs! We have a regularly scheduled pest control but do want guests to be aware that bugs may happen. - WIFI is strong, but cellphone service is erratic in some parts of the house depending on carrier. Porch area and main living room have most reliable service. - All water is from a natural spring below property. **** PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING **** Guest Registration, Occupancy, Visitors & Conduct Policy 1. Registered Guests & Occupancy Limit All guests must be registered and approved by the Host prior to arrival. Maximum occupancy is eight (8) persons at all times, including children. 2. Minors Guests under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied and continuously supervised by a responsible adult while on the property. 3. Visitors No visitors or additional guests are permitted on the property without prior written approval from the Host, regardless of duration. 4. No Parties or Events Parties, events, gatherings, or commercial activities are strictly prohibited at all times, including but not limited to celebrations, receptions, or social gatherings exceeding the registered guest count. Please reach out to host for prior approval for events like Birthdays, Bridal showers, Weddings, Graduation events. 5. Keeping Things Tidy No throwing bottles, cans or any kind of trash in or around creek, culverts. This constitutes a county violation and will subject in serious consequences. No throwing of any trash around pickleball court and firepit. Guests are expected to keep things tidy in and around property at all times. 6. No Drugs Use of any sort of recreational drugs is prohibited and is a major violation of Airbnb policy. Consequences include penalty and termination of contract, along with any Airbnb penalties. 7. Pets are not allowed on the property 8. Enforcement, Fees & Legal Compliance Any violation of this policy constitutes a material breach of the rental agreement and Airbnb House Rules and may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund, additional fees, removal from the property, reporting to Airbnb, and/or voiding of insurance coverage. These rules are enforced to ensure guest safety, neighborhood peace, insurance compliance, and liability protection, and to comply with local short-term rental regulations.
